Front view of OPC 26R a Leyland Leopard PSU3C 4R single deck bus with Duple Dominant Bus bodywork new in November 1976 at the Cobham Bus Museum Annual Spring Bus Coach gathering at Wisley Airfield Surrey 5th April 2009 It was delivered to Safeguard Coaches of Guildford the fourth of eight similar buses bought new by the company between 1975 and 1983 After 12 years of reliable service it was replaced by a new Leyland Lynx in the summer of 1988 It s next operator was Bob Bailey of Folkestone and it was initially painted yellow with blue and black striping towards the rear Some years later it went to its all over yellow that it currently carries It had a long stay in Kent not being sold until the summer of 2003 through a dealer to Emblings Coaches While there it was re registered XIL 8033 and used until March 2005 when it was sold to its current owner for preservation and was re united with it s original registration number but with 2001 style plates
