Architectural screen framing 3 groups of figures; L scene: harpist sits with feet on sphinx, violinist seated on stool & dancing jester holding tambourine below a tightrope walker, surmounted by canopy with parrots; center scene: peacock in front of large vase of flowers on draped support, man on R watches 2 boys play on slack ropes as one appears to slip; R scene: camel lead by keeper, seated & crowned king with sphinx at his feet near child holding a feline cub on ribbons; foreground leopard (R) looks towards camel, surmounted by canopy with parrots; arched trellis above each lateral scene; above trellises: bars of marble molding with suspended arrow & musical trophies; above molding: frieze of light architectural motifs; along lower edge of field, plants emerging from narrow lattice band along lower edge of tapestry between 2 sets of steps, with dog on L steps (BRD) picture-frame border This series comprises six pieces: 3 wide, horizontal panels & 3 upright ones.
