Alcazar. Standards soft bluish-violet overlaid bronze; falls dark nigrosin-violet with white markings at base of petals and bronzy-purple veins. It bears profusely flowers of mammoth size which are well poised on strong rigid stems; height 3 feet. Candelabra. Standards lavender with lilac suffusion; base spotted with dark purple; falls dark purple with almost black shadings, reticulated with white. A variety that is remarkable for its free ' flowering habit and long extended period of bloom; height 2j feet. Caprice. A perfect gem and one of the freest-flowering, blooms of medium size and almost a self-colored Chinese-violet; reticulations of white and deep purple at the base of the petals being the only exception; heijiht 30 inches. Caterina. This superb variety is one of the handsomest of all Iris; a giant in size of flowers as well as in habit of growth; attaining a height of fully four feet. The stems are long and much branched, bearing as many as six to eight flowers at one time. The color is an exquisite shade of pure lavender-blue; the color being uniform in both standards and falls. Cherubin. A very distinct free-flowering variety with good sized flowers; standards pale mauve; falTs pinkish-lilac reticulated with brownish- purple at the lower half of the petals; height 3 feet. Eldorado. Standards bronzy-violet, passing to yellow with brown reticulation at base; falls light-violet purple, lip overlaid with bronze; base yellow with brown pencilings. Very free flowering; height 2§ feet. Isoline.
