BOTSWANA: ADORABLE images of the cutest lion cubs sitting and posing for a portrait photoshoot have been captured in Little Vumbura Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana.One of the images shows a lion cub resting his arm on a broken tree trunk posing in a regal way.Another image shows two cubs sitting closely for the cutest portrait.When they are first born, cubs are very small. They have their eyes closed and don?t open them until they are two to three weeks old. Cubs remain hidden for one to two months before being introduced to the rest of the pride.These images were captured by Nathalie Mountain (52) from Winchester, Hampshire, UK using a Nikon D850 and Nikkor 180 - 400mm??These cubs were a mere six weeks old, ? said Nathalie.?They were ready to come out and start exploring the world outside their den.?We were lucky enough to see these cubs on four consecutive days.?It is such a privilege to watch wild animals behaving naturally in their environment.?Especially because it allowed me a fleeting glimpse into their precious and rare moments.? mediadrumimages/NathalieMountain
