The Chapel of San Ildefonso was the church of the Colegio Mayor San Ildefonso of the University of Alcalá and was completed in 1516. Francisco Vallés and Antonio de Nebrija are buried there, and it presents the sepulchral monument of Cardinal Cisneros. The custom was that the most illustrious professors of the Complutense University were buried in this chapel.
