He attended the publicschools of that city, and also the Corcoran ScientificSchool, later joining the mechanical department of theEckington & Soldiers Home Electric Railway, whichhe left to enter the electrical department of the Capi-tal Traction Company. He acted as electrical engineerof this company since 1906, but was officially appointedto the position this month. Mr. Dalgleish is a memberof the Washington Society of Engineers, the Washing-ton Traffic Club and the equipment committee of theAmerican Electric Railway Engineering Association, and he is also chairman of the Washington section ofthe American Institute of Electrical Engineers.
