The Paisley UK General Election 2019 held at the Lagoon Centre was predicted to have no surprises when it came to who would win and see the SNP candidates Mhairi Black and Gavin Newlands retain their seats. But there was one spur of excitement when the media were pulled aside and told someone had voted twice and the police under the eagle eyes of along the officials would remove the ballot from the box before the other ballots were counted. Though the suspect ballot its self would still counted since the legitimate person may have voted first and the second voter may have been the fraudster. Plus it was also pointed out there may have been a clerical error or a genuine mistake made, so the vote would stand. By the way I was the only photographer, other than those with phones and video cameras, so if anyone is looking to buy photos...
