The first full dress rehearsal at Giffords Circus, based near Stroud, Gloucesterhsire of the new show The Hooley ahead of live performances being allowed to resume from next week. Roll up, roll up, the circus is back in town. Giffords Circus brings its long awaited show The Hooley to fruition. Dreamt up by circus founder Nell Gifford before her death in December 2019 it was due to be their show for 2020, but all that was put on hold by covid. The 700 seat big top with its all new flip down seating will be operating at 50 percent capacity. Tickets have been selling fast as the tour kicks off next week in Gloucestershire, the home of Giffords. Featuring the comedy talents of Tweedy the clown mixed in with ponies, acrobats and fairies all directed by Cal McCrystal, Giffords holds a very special place in the hearts of those who have witnessed the simple pleasures of the vintage circus. The tour starts next week at Gifford base, Fennells Farm, Stroud, moving around to various venues to include Sudeley castle, Winchcombe, Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, Chiswick House and Gardens, London with the fnal performances at Stratton Park, Cirencester in September.
