The plaques and decorations of the tomb, including a monument with brass figures, were lost in the fire which almost destroyed the church in 1893. The church was subsequently rebuilt. Lady Catherine Gordon (1474-1537) lived with her fourth husband in Fyfield, Oxfordshire (previously Berkshire), England and had been the wife of Perkin Warbeck, who claimed to be Richard, one of the 'princes in the tower' allegedly murdered by Richard lll or by Henry Vll.
