The Torre Solaria (143 m), the Torre Aria (100 m) and the Torre Solea (69 m) are three skyscrapers located in Alvar Aalto square in Milan, Italy, as part of the Porta Nuova Project Management Centre. The Solaria Tower is the tallest residential building in Italy. The complex is located on the area of the old railway station of Milano Porta Nuova, later Varesine. The Torre Solaria houses 102 apartments, each designed for maximum exposure to natural light. The parapets of the terraces are made of etched glass and have progressive transparency. The project is by Studio Arquitectonica of Miami founded by Peruvian architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia. The Dolce Vita Homes studio and its partners Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel and Coima Image, have instead realized the common areas and the interiors. Construction began in 2010 and was completed in 2014.
