The Red Arrows performing. BOURNEMOUTH; UK: EXTRAORDINARY images show exciting aerial displays from Bournemouth Air Festival over the weekend. It is the UK's biggest air show and runs from August 31 to September 3, with amazing displays from the Red Arrows, RAF Typhoons and the famous Battle of Britain WW2 planes, the Lancaster, the Hurricane and the Spitfire. Brave jumpers from the British Army Tigers Freefall Parachute Display Team were also photographed taking part in awe-inspiring stunts. The unmistakable bright blue Super Pitts Muscle Bi-Plane also wowed the crowds with unique aerobatics. These images were captured by photographer Asa Diaper using a Nikon Z8 camera, Nikon Z7 II camera and a variety of lenses including 500mm Pf, 70-200mm f2.8, and 20mm f1.8. "Considering the heat of the weekend the photos held pretty well, " he said. "With the sunshine, the crowds were bigger than I'd seen for a long time at an event and it was clearly an event for everyone. "As you can see from the photos, there were also plenty of extras on offer with two fireworks displays and a funfair on the beach." ENDS mediadrumimages / Asa Diaper
