Les livreurs d'aliments livrer de la nourriture commandée par les passagers pour former le personnel de la gare du sud de Nanjing à Nanjing, Jiangsu province de Chine orientale
Food deliverymen deliver food ordered by passengers to train staff at the Nanjing South Railway Station in Nanjing city, east China's Jiangsu province, 21 July 2017. China's high-speed trains began providing passengers with online food ordering services on 17 July 2017, adding meal choices other than the notoriously expensive lunch box. The pilot stage of the project will initially cover 27 'feeding stations' across China's major cities, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Chengdu, China News Service reported. Using the official China Railway Corporation (CRC) website, or their 12306 app, passengers can order various dishes from both the restaurant cars on board and feeding stations along the route, where local specialty dishes sit alongside brands such as KFC on the menu. Prices will be clearly marked online and customers can place an order two hours ahead of departure. All payments will be refunded immediately if orders are cancelled, the CRC noted. The move comes after widespread criticism of the unreasonably expensive and particularly bland pre-packaged rail food.
