H.-Boies); rare in MonroeCounty, where two nests have been found (Jerome Trombley); May to Aug.; arrivesin flocks; breeds irregularly and often very locally (Dr. W. C. Brownell); breeds inthe Northern Peninsula (Prof. Ludwig Kumlein); nests in June on the ground or inbushes; eggs four to six, white with irregular lines of black or brown; locally com-mon, breeds (Gibbs).
