Malcolm Cunningham, Jr, attorney for Venus and Serena Williams, aargue about the admissability of some testimony by Certified Public Accountant Andrew Kramer Monday afternoon. ""You're wrong, " Winikoff told Cunningham. "I don't want to hear another word, " Winikoff said as Cunningham continued to press the point. The exchange took place while the jury was out of the courtroom. Kramer was testifying for the defense about the reliability of the plaintiff's accountant's testimony about the amount of money that could have been made by the proposed tennis event. The breach-of-contract case is about the participation of Venus and Serena Williams in a 2001 "Battle of the Sexes" event. Promoters Carol Clarke and Keith Rhodes, owners of a company called CCKR, allege that Venus and Serena Williams' father, Richard, committed his tennis star daughters to play in the match, and they failed to live up to the agreement. The promoters are suing the sisters, their father and his company, Richard Williams Tennis & Associates. 12/18/06 ... Not for distribution outside Cox papers.
