Informations supplémentaires:
Marabou stork at the Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park in Cheshire, England. This is is not a wild bird but one kept for falconry display, education and conservation purposes. The Marabou Stork is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae found in sub-Saharan Africa. It has largest wingspan of any landbird with the Andean Condor. It survives principally by scavenging on carrion, relying on vultures and other scavengers to open the tough outer hides and then use their bills to retrieve and swallow large pieces of meat.
