San Cristofol de Tavertet is located in a plaza at the entrance to the town, with the apse oriented to the east, next to a cliff. At the end of the twelfth century or early thirteenth was added to the west bell tower for defensive purposes. In the seventeenth century extended the north side with a ship of three sections covered with vaults. A century later was added the sacristy noon. The apse is the oldest and has the outside decoration arches between piers and three double slit windows. The site is located south and adovellat with large segments and an oculus at the top. To access door must pass under an arch bridge that connects the rectory. Since the restoration, the interior walls are exposed stone.
