Informations supplémentaires:
This shot is taken on the Kingston embankment side of Kingston Bridge. This area is normally teeming with people enjoying meals at nearby restaurants and nightclubs but due to the fog is abnormally subdued this evening. Kingston upon Thames is a popular shopping centre. Its ancient market place and the Rose Theatre are situated nearby. Riverside properties such as Charter Quay are highly sought after. Steeped in history, Kingston is situated close to Hampton Court Palace and was heavily bombed during the Second World War as the old British Aerospace factory made an excellent target for the enemy. Much of the original town was destroyed but you can still get a flavour of it by viewing the original tudor stair case in the Druid's Head public house featured in Jerome K Jerome's Three Men in a Boat.
