Informations supplémentaires:
The three Bragg Family Windows were commissioned by Lord Melvyn Bragg to commemorate members of his family. The windows were designed by Brian Campbell and were manufactured and installed by Alex Haynes in 2009. The windows are installed on the North side of the church to replace what were formerly plain windows. The window illustrated is the centre window. The inscription is " NOT IN ENTIRE FORGETFULNESS AND NOT IN ENTIRE NAKEDNESS BUT TRAILING CLOUDS OF GLORY DO WE COME FROM GOD WHO IS OUR HOME" a quotation from Wordsworth:- Ode. Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood. The window is "DEDICATED TO ALMIGHTY GOD. GIVEN BY MELVYN BRAGG IN THANKSGIVING FOR HIS PARENTS ETHEL AND STANLEY BRAGG. 2009". This detail shows the upper portion of the window. It represents the Glory of God shining down. The oak leaves represent faith and endurance.
