Music fans arrive at Hylands Park Chelmsford, Essex, for this weekend V Festival. More than 180, 000 festival-goers are expected to attend V Festival this weekend, across the twinned festival sites in Essex and Staffordshire.95, 000 people are due to attend the Staffordshire event and drivers have been warned to expect delays on the roads around the Weston Park site in Weston-under-Lizard. Up to 35, 000 cars are expected to arrive on the V Festival site this weekend, making queues likely. At the Chelmsford site more than 90, 000 festival-goers will head to Hylands Park for a weekend of music from the likes of Stereophonics, Emeli Sande and Jessie J. Speed restrictions will be in place on the roads leading to the site and officers will also be breathalysing drivers exiting the site over the weekend who they suspect may be drink driving.
