Eslite bookstore a popular hang out spot in Taipei. It was established in 1989. The first shop was located in Taipei City, Da-an District, Dunhua South Road, with a focus and emphasis on art- and humanity-related books. Since then, the company has expanded and set up more shops, and now includes a wider selection of books. Eslite also expanded into retail, and opened up Eslite Mall.
