Murray Cunningham and Bob Perlmutter The ski bum's dream come true: ski everyday and make a living doing it. Though Murray Cunningham and Bob Perlmutter both ended up in Aspen by chance they have very deliberately chosen skiing as their life long passion and career. They have each worked the gamut of ski town jobs from bussing tables to retail to construction to various recreation jobs but the constant has been a career in skiing. As a fifth generation Coloradoan Murray began coaching ski racing when he was still too young to drive a car. Bob cut his brief collegiate career short and moved to Aspen at the age of 19. For the last 15 years they have been working together running the Powder Cat Tours for the Aspen Ski Company. Murray put it best when he stated We all came here for the mountains but what holds us here is the community.
