Songdowon International Children's Union Camp in Wonsan. This camp welcomes kids from DPRK, China, Mongolia, ...and before, from all the communist countries, for holidays. They have a lot of activities, like karaoke, video games, etc... North Korea, like any other communist country, features a number of organizations dedicated to providing free-time activities to the young. The Young Pioneers organization is the main one. The Young Pioneers Corps closely resembles traditional scouting, except for its state-issued and military-like character. It includes teaching of the Republic’s values and, as always, personality cult to the Eternal President Kim Il-Sung, to the deceased leader Kim Jong-Il, and to the current leader Kim Jong-Un. The children usually wear a red handkerchief. The movement values sport, outdoor capacities, and group socialization: children will walk and play on the street after school, but are asked to stay with friends of their own age and gender.
