Informations supplémentaires:
A guide go across the network of tunnels of Vinh Moc. This small village is located in the so-called Demilitarization Zone, an area located into what was the border between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. Since 1966 this region was heavily bombed by the US. The people of Vinh Moc tunnels dug to protect these bombings while the troops were supporting the Vietcong. It is a distributed network of tunnels complexed at three different levels. In this area most complex of tunnels were built but were destroyed by bombing. Only Vinh Moc tunnels have survived the war. The Vietnam War ended decades ago. Currently the Asian country has recovered economically from that tragedy and is one of the countries with the strongest economy in Asia. Meantime, memories of the war have become a tourist attraction. But today, thousands of victims of the Agent Orange and explosives that remain in the fields, continue to suffer the terrible consequences of conflict.
