" The house seems full of young people in very high spirits, laughing a great deal at their own jokes ....... lying in the garden which is simply a dithering blaze of flowers and butterflies and apples." The Bloomsbury set , included Clive Bell , Vanessa Bell and her sister , Virginia Woolf, Leonard Woolf, E.M.Foster, Lytton Strachey, Roger Fry , Maynard Keynes and Duncan Grant.
