Informations supplémentaires:
A decorative sculpture on a bridge on the Cuckoo Trail near Hellingly in the English County of East Sussex. The Cuckoo Trail is a 14 mile mostly traffic free path in the English county of East Sussex. It runs from Heathfield in the north to Eastbourne Park in the south, passing through Horam, Hailsham and Polegate. It takes its name from the nickname given to the old railway of "The Cuckoo Line." This in turn took its name from the annual fair held in Heathfield at the time of the arrival of the first cuckoos to the area and thus the return of spring. The fair has recently been revived. The path is a green corridor for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It is jointly owned by East Sussex County Council and Wealden District Council. It was partly funded bt Sustrans and forms part of National Cycle Network number 21.
