Cw 5097. Temperature blanket end of December 2017. Carole Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations has now knitted the 11th months rows on to her temperature blanket for 2017. The blanket is being knitted on a 4mm circular needle using a double knitting weight yarn with 275 stitches per row. Carole has recorded the outdoor temperature where ever she has been at approximately 08.30 hrs over the last month. The stats for this last month reflect us being around the West Lancashire area, mainly Burscough but included a few days away towards Parbold and Appley Bridge. The highest temperature over the 31 days was 11 degrees C and the lowest -5 degrees. The average temperature for the month has dropped to 5 C down a degree from November.
