Carrollton is a historic rail hub that still controls the landscape.. The upgrades to I-35e interstate System completely rebuilt to fly over the crosses of several rail lines on the North Side of Town. Dart Light Rail Station built a massive walkway from the rail platform to the other side complete with three story elevator system. The DG &O Short Line has a hub on the North Side. The New Silver Line, Will have a station and will go into Terminal B at DFW International Airport. The downtown square is thriving with new living spaces, businesses, town square activities and more. It is truly an easy place to get to. It is a fun place to be.Trail systems also connect on the North side of downtown. The rail lines also provide transportation to all the major Universities in the Metroplex, from UNT, Denton, to UT at Dallas, UNT southern campus, SMU Dallas, UofD, Irving, TCU Ft. Worth, and all the community colleges in Dallas. Truly, the right stuff from living to education to job markets.
