Some 50 people were protesting against the government anti-coronavirus measures outside the house of PM Andrej Babis (ANO) in Pruhonice near Prague today, on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021, police spokeswoman Michaela Richterova has told CTK. About 15 police officers were monitoring the protest. Public order was not disturbed, Richterova added. The demonstrators brought a coffin and lit candles in it outside Babis's house.Babis was then at the traditional New Year luncheon with President Milos Zeman at the Lany presidential manor.Babis told reporters that the meeting outside his home in Pruhonice was unpleasant for his family. He would understand it if the protest took place outside the Government Office instead, he added.Many participants in the demonstration did not wear face masks and keep the necessary two-metre distance.
