Rockefeller Center is a vast architectural conglomerate made up of 19 commercial buildings that extend over an area of 22 acres (equivalent to 89, 000 square meters), located between 48th and 51st streets in the famous Midtown Manhattan neighborhood in New York City. The 14 original buildings, erected in the Art Deco style and promoted by the prominent Rockefeller family, spread along the space between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, interrupted by a vast sunken esplanade and a private street named Rockefeller Plaza. Later, additional buildings were added such as 75 Rockefeller Plaza on 51st Street, at the north end, and four buildings with an International architectural style on the west side of Sixth Avenue.
