Each day, at least 3 fire accidents happen in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia_A data of Jakarta's open data unit showed that in a period between 2011 and 2020, fire accident in the Indonesian capital occured by an average of 1373 cases per year. Each day, at least 3 fire accidents occur in the city with estimated population of more than 11 million people._Most of the cases occurred in residential settlements and caused by human error of preventable environmental settings. Houses in a dense neighborhood, or in slums, are the most vulnerable to fire accident since they are likely built of many flammable materials with poor, risky system of electricity. The absent of adequate hydrant system or scarce water source—to support fire extinguishing—adds to the problems._In ten years period, 269 lives of the city's residents were lost by fire accidents—an average of 26.9 lost per year. There were 164 cases of firefighters injured on fire extinguishing duties. One firefighter's life was lost in the same period._The total of financial lost per year is on average of 305 billion rupiah (21 million USD).
