Their portraits are printed along with their Chinese names, genders, nationalities, residential addresses and spurious identity numbers on fake Chinese ID cards for sale on the street in the city. A lot of other celebrities are also involved, including former AL-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou, Hong Kong singers Nicholas Tse and Andy Lau. Priced at one yuan (16 US cents) apiece, the cards are hot-sellers in the city. But some said that it might be illegal to use the portraits of famous people for making money.
