A tiger cub waits for its mother at Banham zoo in Autumn. Tiger cubs won't stray far from parents and this one was keeping an eye out for mum.Norfolk, UK: THESE ADORABLE images capture a tiger cub?s first exploration into the colours of autumn with mum encouraging the baby?s adventure. One image from Banham Zoo in Norfolk shows the cub running in the fallen leaves, blending into the colours of autumn. Another picture shows the young cub mimicking mum by reaching up and scratching a tree, all under the protection of mums belly. The Siberian tiger is the largest subspecies of tiger, growing up to 82 inches, with the addition of a 39-inch tail. They can weigh in excess of 675 pounds. They can live up to 20 years and are endangered, with only an estimated 265 to 486 left in the wild. These images were captured by photographer Talvinder Chohan (40) using a Canon EOS R6 camera. ?Any wildlife or zoo animal photography is all about patience as you are on the animal?s terms, ? said Talvinder. ?I had to simply wait and try to predict where they may move. ?I?m able to predict certain behaviours just through simple observation and experience. ?I like how the Tigress is so powerful, yet so gentle and I think images like these can help people to relate to and appreciate tigers which is a step towards conserving them for the benefit, enjoyment and education of future generations. ?I did feel I had captured something special, and that was later confirmed by the positive response on the internet and social media. ?I wanted to capture the colours and spirit of the autumnal season.? mediadrumimages/TalvinderChohan
