Waterloo East railway station, also known as London Waterloo East, [ is a railway station in central London on the line from Charing Cross through London Bridge towards Kent, in the south-east of England. It is 61 chains (1.2 km) down the line from Charing Cross. Although Waterloo East is a through-station, it is classed for ticketing purposes as a central London terminus.Services through the station are operated by Southeastern and it is situated within fare zone 1. One Blackfriars is a mixed-use development under construction at No. 1 Blackfriars Road in Bankside, London. It is informally known as The Vase due its shape.The development is made up of a 52-storey tower of a maximum height of 170 m and two smaller buildings of six and four storeys respectively. Uses include residential flats, a hotel and retail. In addition, a new public space will be created. The site was formerly occupied by the headquarters of Sainsbury's supermarket. South Bank Tower (formerly King's Reach Tower until 2013[4]) is a high-rise building in Stamford Street, Southwark, London. It was originally a thirty-storey structure 111 metres (364 ft) high and was completed in 1972, [5] designed by the architect Richard Seifert and built by John Laing.
