Bogračfest is held traditionally every year in Lendava, the world capital of bograč (bograch). Bograč is a traditional local meal, containing the following ingredients: 3 sorts of meat, onion, garlic, fat, paprika, fresh peppers, patatoes, wine, salt, black pepper and spicy paprika/peppers. The core of the event is the competition for the best bograč, which has to be prepared during the event (one can notice the traditional pots where the bograč is being cooked). This year, 101 teams joined the competition. Overall, bogračfest is a big social, touristic, and culinaric event.
