The Lands Inn Fly In Bed & Breakfast and Airport is a private airport located on 350 acres in a remote area of Eastern Oregon near Kimberly and only about two miles from the Blue Basin Badlands. It’s a perfect stop over if you are on a photo trip and want to get an early start near the Sheep Rock Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. You can fly in, hike in, cycle in or drive in, dodging grazing cattle that often stop on the road. It’s a rustic and gorgeous location. The three ‘A’ frames behind the hanger are small, with room for one or two, with no water, electricity or heat. A fine bathroom and shower is located at the back of the hanger. “Breakfast can be provided for an additional $10 per person. Tom is famous for his old time family pancake recipe!”
